I know what you mean Rick with no true performance diesel shops in New Mexico. I do feel it will change a lot in the next couple years. I want to get a sling shot and start shooting the idiots with tow mirrors stuck out for no damn reason. If everything keeps going as planed ill have a pro street truck up and running. I just ordered a tube chassis soft ware I can start playing around with it.

First pass I ever made in the truck was 18.65 over the years got down to 14.96 . For a tuck that is older than some of the guys
Running it " FEELS fast " . As long as your having fun and your happy with it that's all that matters , if your running 18's
Or 10's

I took my drivers test in this truck 20! Years ago when there wasn't diesels running around everywhere .
It's not going anywhere ...

Yeah still up there , got the damage from the dowell pin fixed truck back on the road .

I have noticed that the scene seems to be growing, and I agree with Rick also a lot of people are either scared or lack the knowledge of making a full performance Diesel engine. But we have one machine shop down in cruces that he is slowly testing and working with what we are throwing at him lol.
