That'd be awesome to be a sponsor on here! I do more then gates/fences/art with the cnc table. Most of the suspension parts I make are for bagged vehicles, but I do make parts for lifted stuff too (bumpers - tubular or plate, brackets, nerfbars, headache racks, etc). I can cut up to an inch thick and if members mention the forum I'll hook em up. PM sent for the packet

Holy smokes into the 11's? We're only a few years behind lol. I have a 14 sec truck that's not worth racing.

Holy smokes into the 11's? We're only a few years behind lol. I have a 14 sec truck that's not worth racing. I personally think its a great accomplishment for us, even if everyone else has already done it... The diesel performance scene IMO is just getting started here in NM. We've finally got people moving away from just wanting smoke to actually having a smokeless bad ass truck that you'd never guess made 700hp until you tried racing them. You've also got to keep in mind, until recently theirs been no market for aftermarket diesel parts in NM except for CAIs, exhausts, and tuners. I bet you can still count the number of local compound turbo'd trucks on 2 hands. Plus we have no local sled pulls, diesel races, no shops that can actually do performance work so its hard for guys to even get "common" parts (ie, compounds, injectors, lift pumps) installed locally. On top of that no machine shop would even build a short block for me because a diesel turning 5000 RPMs is not very common and they weren't comfortable building a diesel that was going to be doing that. Then I had to send my pistons to Missouri to get them fly cut because everyone is afraid of dropping the CR on a diesel... Its those kind of things that have made the diesel scene stay small here. Because of that it really limits what a lot of people can do with their truck. Building a motor takes precision that the vast majority of people either don't have the skill or tools to accomplish that hence why automotive machine shops exist. Hell how many people do you know that can even read a micrometer correctly? If you can't install the crank with the minimum recommended clearances you might as well just save the time and trouble and burn a handful of cash in your back yard. I still think for the most part a low 14 sec truck here is a great truck... Yeah its slow compared to everyone else, but considering the crappy market were in, its a good starting point and only helps bring interest to the sport especially since half the cars at the track on test n tune night can't even break out of the 14s... Plus as the few fast trucks get even faster, more and more people are going to want to step up their game and have a bad ass daily driver that can also go to the track and run 11s
