Freddy's is so good! Have you guys had the steakburgers yet? Worth the wait in line you will undoubtedly have to endure.
....but Pappadeaux is still my vote. If you haven't had the alligator you are SO missing out. And if you don't like seafood, they have great steaks there as well.

We still looking at a Saturday for doin this? Currently work 3-11pm and have wed/thurs off until mid April when our new bid takes effect and then I'll have weekends off again working 2-10pm. I'd like to attend the M&G, just might be another month before I am able to. Haven't been to Pappadeaux's, but sounds good to me or any of the restaurants along Paseo. Yes sir, its still on for the 23. If we had gotten SWCR back on a few months ago, we used to have weekly Thursday or Friday lunch meets but thats kind of started dwindling since I have school til 2 almost everyday and others are working out of town... I think it'll be an evening meet if we're doing Pappadeauxs but we can change that if needed. But if you haven't had alligator be prepared to be blown away lol. In theory at least if you miss this one, we'll be having at the end of every month. Plus no that its starting to warm up we'll be able to go out and have some fun with the trucks |

Okay, so for the M&G.
March 23, Hooters on San Mateo at Noon.
I know Damian, you're going to be hurt its not Pappadeaux but after talking to a few people around town, I think as we're trying to rebuild this site and get our name out there more, we need to go to a place that is affordable and liked by everyone. And considering this is our first meet since restarting the site, we should be focused more on drawing as many people as we can and who doesn't like Hooters?
Now for April, we can definitely think about Pappadeaux or somewhere else since it hopefully just won't be the 5 regulars... Granted that is all in theory. We'll see how it all plays out.

Besides the crappy wind, we had a pretty good first meet! 22 people, some new, some old, and even a member from T or C showed up...
I guess we can start planning the next meet (April 27) now. Maybe a BBQ at a park? Maybe an evening meet somewhere?

I should get on here more often!! Didn't know there was a meet today lol I was sitting at home bored not knowing what to do because it was my first weekend off in 5 weeks. Would have given me an excuse to drive the new truck. You would think my old buddy Rick would send me a text or something but he doesn't even reply when I try to talk to him. Sad days rond here
